Nice standard hotel. Nothing fancy, but comfortable, comveniently located, easy place to stay. I'll stay there again

Very helpful staff, available on need. We had a large room with a balcony overlooking the mountain.

No one at the reception when we arrived, had to call and then could check in

The WiFi in my room was virtually nonexistent, if your room is close to the lobby it shouldn’t be a problem but I was at the other end of the building.

We booked the family room for 2 people, which was very comfortable with large space. The location was good, with a walkable distance to the lake.

The property has a great location, the rooms are very spacious and clean and comfortable. The staff are also very friendly and helpful and did their best to accommodate us - for example we arrived very early after a long flight and train journey to Kandy and they did all possible to have our rooms ready as quickly as possible so we could get a bit of sleep!

There is very poor water pressure in the shower.

The bed sheets were disgustingly dirty. The room that I stayed faced to the street and was very noisy due to high traffic even at very late night.

We had a great stay! The location is excellent—just a short walk to Sri Dalada Maligawa. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for our group of four, with two double beds and two single beds. The lift was very convenient, especially for the elders in our group. Parking was also impressive—secure, and we could even lock the vehicle remotely from the room. Highly recommend!

Location and view over Kandy is good. A few minutes to the temple and 10 mins to town centre. Very spacious rooms. Hot water

Lack of plants/ deco made it feel sterile and less welcoming than most places we've stayed.

Very close to temple of tooth and lake. Very basic but clean. We had no hot water until we were informed there was a switch to turn the hot water on (might have been nice to have been told that before). But great location and good value for money.

Really nice Hotel with friendly service. Our room was spacious and super clean. The big temple is in walking distance and there are some nice restaurants around. Would stay there again.

Very simple, sweet and kind staffs. A very un-bureaucratic type of facility. You feel completely quiet and serene. There is no list of staffs and security running here and their. Very private ambience. A very flexible check-in and check-out. The force of the water in the shower was huge. I have never got this type of abundance of water in any shower anywhere else.

Breakfast was excellent. Front representing person was excellent service given by him. Location is just near by Dalada Maligawa.

Staff was about to clean the stuff at 11.00 a.m even though we said we will check out at 12

Nothing to complaint

Our stay at Sarvodaya Samma VaasaResidence was extremely comfortable - the room was roomy, with a balcony and extra roomy. The high ceilings and size of the room gave an overall feeling of spaciousness, and the friendly staff were exceptionally helpful in every way. Staying here allows visitors to learn a little about the Sarvodaya movement which holds such an important place in Sri Lankan history. The location could not have been better, and was a key to a wonderful experience in Kandy. Thank you, to the staff!

Overall, I think the value added in the Sarvodaya Residence is exceptional - the coffee pot, complimentary water, coffee and tea - good internet etc. I would not compain about anything here.
